About the Artist

On morning walks with my dog, I contemplate the sun shining on red roof tops, the shadows of the Western Sycamore trees, the enchanting mist lingering in the atmosphere and the muted colors of dried buckwheat. I find inspiration in the colors of nature, the nuances of landscapes and the beauty of the universe.  Art is everywhere I look, and I endeavor to be present in the moment to drink it all in.  Creating art brings joy to my heart. With my palette and brush, I hope to share that joy with others.  

I paint with an impressionistic style with an emphasize on artistic subtleties and color. I create both en plein air and in my studio based on reference photos and influenced by color studies. I enjoy painting with different mediums and subjects and embrace an always learning philosophical mindset.
